Cuisine American
Servings 6 burgers worth of sauce and a little extra for dipping fries

Equipment

  • 1 chopping board
  • 1 sharp knife
  • 1 digital scale

Ingredients

  • 100 grams mayonnaise
  • 50 grams ketchup/tomato sauce
  • 25 grams yellow American mustard not Dijon (Note 1)
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper fresh ground
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 35 grams onion very finely diced
  • 45 grams pickles very finely diced (Note 2)
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Finely dice pickles and onion.
  • Add all ingredients together into a bowl and mix well. Can be used straight away but flavour develops more if you leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Notes

Note 1 - You want Yellow American mustard (think hotdog mustard) not the fancy kinds like Dijon and wholegrain.
Note 2 - I use Always Fresh Bread and Butter Cucumbers. They are thick enough to easily dice, without being too thick.
